วันที่ 8 มี.ค.69 กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ รายงานว่า เมื่อช่วงเย็นของวันที่ 7 มีนาคม 2569  เวลา 18.40 น. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นตุรกี (ซึ่งช้ากว่าไทย 4 ชม.)  เจ้าหน้าที่จุดผ่านแดน Kapikoy ได้อำนวยความสะดวกให้แก่คณะจากกรมการกงสุลนำโดยนายบัญชา ยืนยงจงเจริญ รองอธิบดีกรมการกงสุล และสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงอังการา นำโดยนางสาวพัณณ์ชิตา รมยานนท์ อุปทูต รับคณะคนไทยกลุ่มแรก จำนวน 62 คน นำโดยนางสาวชญานิษฐ์ ประเสริฐผล ที่ปรึกษา สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเตหะราน ซึ่งออกจากอิหร่านผ่านจุดผ่านแดน Razi มายังด่าน Kapikoy ของตุรกีด้วยความปลอดภัย  ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการฯ ได้จัดเตรียมที่พัก อาหาร ถุงยังชีพ และสิ่งจำเป็นต่าง ๆ ให้กับคนไทยที่อพยพออกจากอิหร่าน ในระหว่างที่พำนัก อยู่ในเมืองวานเพื่อรอออกเดินทางกลับประเทศไทยต่อไป ในวันที่  8 และ 9 มีนาคม 2569

การอพยพคนไทยในอิหร่านครั้งนี้เป็นไปตามนโยบายของรัฐบาลไทยในการให้ความช่วยเหลือคนไทยในภูมิภาคตะวันออกกลางที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากการสู้รบให้ออกจากพื้นที่อันตรายในโอกาสแรกด้วยความปลอดภัย

กระทรวงการต่างประเทศขอบคุณฝ่ายอิหร่านและ ตุรกีที่ช่วยอำนวยความสะดวกให้แก่คณะคนไทยอพยพ และขอส่งความห่วงใยไปยังทุกท่านและขอให้คนไทยที่พำนักอยู่ในภูมิภาคตะวันออกกลางติดตามข่าวสารและประกาศจากสถานเอกอัครราชทูต/สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ในภูมิภาคอย่างใกล้ชิด

The first group of Thai evacuees from Iran arrive in Turkey

On the evening of 7 March 2026, 18.40 hrs. local time, officials at the Kapıköy border checkpoint, in coordination with the Department of Consular Affairs and representatives from the Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara, received the first group of Thai nationals, totaling 62 persons, who traveled with representatives of the Royal Thai Embassy in Tehran, from Iran via the Razi border crossing.

The Operations Center in Van will facilitate accommodations, meals, relief kits, and other essential supplies for this group and all other Thai nationals evacuating from Iran, while they await onward travel to Thailand on 8 and 9 March 2026.

The evacuation of Thai nationals from Iran has been carried out in accordance with the policy of the Royal Thai Government to safely and immediately assist Thai nationals in the Middle East who are affected by the ongoing conflict to depart high-risk areas. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its appreciation to both Iranian and Turkish authorities for facilitating the evacuation of Thai nationals. Thai nationals residing in the Middle East are advised to closely follow news and announcements from Royal Thai Embassies and Consulates-General.
