ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการกองทัพภาคที่ 2 ขอแถลงสถานการณ์การตามแนวชายแดนไทย - กัมพูชา ประจำวันที่ 30 สิงหาคม 2568 เวลา 14.00 น. โดยมีรายละเอียด ดังนี้

สถานการณ์โดยรวมมีการตรวจพบความเคลื่อนไหวของทหารฝ่ายกัมพูชาโดยเจ้าหน้าที่ได้ตรวจพบโดรนบริเวณพื้นที่ช่องบก 1 ลำ และ อยู่ระหว่างการติดตามความเคลื่อนไหวของฝ่ายตรงข้ามอย่างใกล้ชิด กองกำลังทั้ง 2 ฝ่าย ยังคงวางกำลังตามแนวที่มั่น ของตนเอง ฝ่ายไทย จัดกำลังพลประจำจุดเฝ้าตรวจตามเหตุการณ์ เพื่อติดตามความเคลื่อนไหว ของฝ่ายตรงข้าม และเตรียมความพร้อมในการปฏิบัติตอบโต้ตามสถานการณ์

กรณีข้อกล่าวหาฝ่ายกัมพูชาต่อการใช้สารพิษของฝ่ายไทย ตามที่ปรากฏข่าวสารในสื่อออนไลน์ของกัมพูชา มีการเผยแพร่ภาพทหารกัมพูชาสวมใส่หน้ากากป้องกันสารพิษ พร้อมกล่าวอ้างว่ากองทัพไทยอาจมีการใช้อาวุธเคมีและสารพิษในการปฏิบัติการ ทางทหารนั้น กองทัพภาคที่ 2 ขอเรียนชี้แจงอย่างชัดเจนว่า ข้อกล่าวหาดังกล่าว ไม่เป็นความจริง ฝ่ายไทย ไม่เคยมีนโยบาย และไม่มีความจำเป็นต้องใช้อาวุธเคมีหรือแก๊สพิษ ในการปฏิบัติการทางทหารแต่อย่างใด การนำเสนอข้อมูลดังกล่าวเป็นเพียงการบิดเบือนข้อเท็จจริง ซึ่งอาจมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างความหวาดกลัวแก่ประชาชนภายในประเทศกัมพูชาเอง

ประเทศไทยยึดมั่นอย่างเคร่งครัดต่อพันธกรณีตาม อนุสัญญาว่าด้วยการห้ามอาวุธเคมี (Chemical Weapons Convention - CWC) และ ไม่เคยมีการพัฒนา ผลิต ครอบครอง หรือใช้อาวุธเคมีในทุกกรณี อีกทั้ง ยังให้ความสำคัญต่อหลักมนุษยธรรมและการปฏิบัติตามกฎหมายระหว่างประเทศอย่างต่อเนื่อง

กองทัพภาคที่ 2 ขอให้ประชาชนทุกฝ่ายมั่นใจว่า ประเทศไทยดำเนินการด้วยความโปร่งใส ยึดหลักสันติวิธี และพร้อมให้ความร่วมมือกับประชาคมระหว่างประเทศอย่างเต็มที่ เพื่อธำรงไว้ซึ่งความมั่นคง ความปลอดภัย และสันติภาพในภูมิภาค ทั้งนี้ข้อกล่าวหา ที่ฝ่ายกัมพูชานำมาเผยแพร่ต่อสาธารณชนนั้น เป็น ข่าวเท็จและเป็นเพียงกลยุทธ์เพื่อผลประโยชน์ทางการเมืองภายในประเทศตนเอง มิได้มีข้อเท็จจริงใด ๆ เกี่ยวข้องกับนโยบายหรือการปฏิบัติการของฝ่ายไทย

การดูแลผู้อพยพ อำนวยความสะดวกประชาชนจากพื้นที่เสี่ยงภัย ไปยังพื้นที่รวบรวมพลเรือน 7 ศูนย์ ในพื้นที่ จ.อุบลราชธานี 3 ศูนย์ 100 คน และในพื้นที่ จ.สุรินทร์ 4 ศูนย์ 501 คน ปัจจุบันมียอด 601 คน เนื่องจาก มีความวิตกกังวล ทั้งนี้ทางฝ่ายปกครอง ได้จัดชุดรักษา ความปลอดภัยหมู่บ้าน เข้าดูแลพื้นที่บ้านเรือนของพี่น้องประชาชนอย่างต่อเนื่อง

การดำเนินงานด้านจิตอาสา พระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว ได้ทรงพระกรุณาโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อมให้ นายชำนาญ ชื่นตา ผวจ.สุรินทร์ นำแจกันดอกไม้ และกระเช้าสิ่งของพระราชทานไปมอบแก่กำลังพล 4 นาย ที่ได้รับบาดเจ็บจากเหตุการณ์ความไม่สงบบริเวณชายแดนไทย-กัมพูชาในพื้นที่ จว.สุรินทร์ เพื่อเป็นขวัญกำลังใจ แสดงถึงความห่วงใยของพระองค์ต่อกำลังพล ขณะนี้กำลังพล อยู่ในระหว่างการรักษาตัวได้รับการดูแลอย่างใกล้ชิด จากทีมแพทย์ พยาบาล ของโรงพยาบาลปราสาท อ.ปราสาท และโรงพยาบาลสุรินทร์ อ.เมืองสุรินทร์ จว.สุรินทร์

ศอ.จอส.พระราชทาน มทบ.25, ศอ.จอส.พระราชทาน จว.สุรินทร์ และ ศอ.จอส.พระราชทาน จว.อุบลราชธานี จิตอาสา 904 พร้อมด้วย จิตอาสาพระราชทาน เยี่ยมศูนย์พักพิงชั่วคราว และได้มอบสิ่งของเครื่องอุปโภค-บริโภค อาหาร น้ำดื่ม ให้กับประชาชน, ผู้สูงอายุ, ผู้ป่วย และเด็ก ณ ศูนย์พักพิงชั่วคราว จว.สุรินทร์ และ จว.อุบลราชธานี อย่างต่อเนื่อง

The 2nd Army Area Operations Center reports the following situation along the Thai–Cambodian border as of 30 August 2025, 1400 hrs.

General Situation Movement of Cambodian troops was observed in certain areas. A drone was detected near the Chong Bok area (1 unit). Monitoring of opposing forces continues closely. Both sides’ forces remain stationed at their respective positions. Thai troops continue to man observation points to track movements and remain prepared to respond as necessary.

Clarification regarding Cambodian allegations of Thailand’s use of toxic substances In response to information circulated in Cambodian online media, which published images of Cambodian soldiers wearing chemical protective masks and alleged that the Royal Thai Army may have used chemical weapons and toxic

substances in military operations:

The 2nd Army Area Command hereby states clearly that these allegations are false. Thailand has never had a policy, nor any necessity, to use chemical or toxic agents in military operations. Such claims are distortions of facts, likely intended to instill fear among the Cambodian population. Thailand strictly adheres to its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC). The Kingdom has never developed, produced, possessed, or used chemical weapons under any circumstances, and consistently respects humanitarian principles and international law. The 2nd Army Area Command assures the public that Thailand operates with transparency, adheres to peaceful means, and fully cooperates with the international community to maintain regional security, safety, and peace. The allegations disseminated by Cambodia are false information and serve only as a political strategy for domestic purposes, with no connection whatsoever to Thailand’s policies or operations.

Assistance for Evacuees Civilian evacuation support continues with cooperation from government agencies, private organizations, and local communities. Currently, there are 7 civilian assembly centers: 3 in Ubon Ratchathani Province (100 people) and 4 in Surin Province (501 people), bringing the total to 601 evacuees. Local authorities have deployed village security units to safeguard evacuated communities.

Royal Volunteer Activities His Majesty the King graciously granted permission for Mr. Chamnarn Chuentha, Governor of Surin Province, to present royal flower vases and gift baskets to 4 soldiers injured in incidents along the Thai–Cambodian border in Surin Province. This act of compassion provided encouragement and demonstrated His Majesty’s concern for the well-being of Thai soldiers. The injured personnel are receiving close medical care at Prasat Hospital (Prasat District, Surin Province) and Surin Hospital (Mueang Surin District, Surin Province). Additionally, Royal Volunteer Centers of the 25th Military Circle, Surin Province, and Ubon Ratchathani Province, together with “Volunteer 904” units, continued visiting temporary shelters to distribute relief items, food, and drinking water to civilians, the elderly, patients, and children affected by the situation.
